Join NWYSE for a special networking event to jump start your year. NYWSE is
celebrating rapid growth and a community of 1500+. Tapping into this vast
group of women, host Taryn Miller-Stevens of Change.org will guide you
through three activities to formulate your goals, traverse obstacles, and
create new opportunities:
Speed Game-Changing
Goal Circle
Think Tank Accelerator
Beverages provided and please remember to bring business cards. If there is
a particular social enterprise topic that you would like to see added to
the discussion, please email NYWSE at n...@ywse.org with a reference to this
event.
*About NYWSE*
NYWSE’s mission is to provide a community, tools, trainings, and resources
that women need to succeed as business leaders while becoming
sustainability experts, and our vision is to empower women to effect change
in society at all levels, as an individual, community member, professional,
student, and entrepreneur.
*More info from the organizers:*
Whether you are a business owner or even slightly interested in social
enterprise, this event will be useful. As long as you are interested in
conversing around this topic with other motivated women, this event will be
enlightening. The goal is to expose women, from the wide spectrum of NYWSE
members, to each other as well as to the different ways in which you can be
involved in this community. Also, for members with businesses attending
the event, you will serve as a captive focus group, so you are invaluable!
As a side note, our host, Taryn, is absolutely inspirational and
energizing.
After college, I attended a lot of networking events in NYC as part of my job search. Now that I have a job, I still like to share what I’ve learn about great events. I think you'll agree that the "right events get you the right jobs," so I hope this blog is helpful. Email me if you know about a cool networking even: I’m kbierce (at) gmail dot com. Although I can’t attend everything, I love learning more about what’s new. A calendar of NYC events is at the bottom of this page.
This blog is about how the right networking events can help you find the right job (or jobs!) for you.
