Please Help the High Water Women 2011 Backpack Drive |
| Thanks to our fabulous fund raising committee we have been able to raise a record amount of donations that will enable us to provide 6500 backpacks to children in need. Assembling these backpacks with the assortment of school supplies we've been able to purchase and getting them out the door to our nonprofit partners who will distribute them to the children, is a large-scale operation requiring the help of hundreds of volunteers. Volunteers are needed on August 12th and from August 15th - 18th. There are multiple two-hour shifts available each day. It's fun to stuff backpacks and we very much need an army of volunteers to make this happen! Please come solo, bring a group of family (children over 12) or friends, or put together a work team!
