Net Impact 'small dinner discussion' in NYC 3/16

Interested in a more relaxed networking event where you can learn more about advances in education over dinner?  Check this out.  I think you have to be a Net Impact member to attend but if you aren't, and you're interested in business-driven-social-impact, you should definitely join (only $50/yr). See www.netimpact.org or the description of the Net Impact NYC Professional chapter for more info on that.
Anyway, on to the event:

Small Dinner Discussion with Teacher U / Relay School of Education on March 16
Please join Net Impact NYC for the next Small Dinner Discussion. On Wednesday March 16th at 7pm, fill up on an engaging conversation with Yutaka Tamura, COO and Yvonne Chao, Director of Finance of Teacher U / Relay School of Education.
After 15 years of creating 100 of the nation’s most celebrated urban schools and developing more than a thousand of the nation’s most successful educators, leaders from Uncommon Schools, KIPP, and Achievement First collaborated to launch Teacher U, an organization dedicated to sharing their most effective practices with teachers. They are actively hiring and looking to fill these positions.
The small dinner setting will allow attendees to gain an in depth look at Teacher U and the exciting launch of the Relay School of Education. Education Reform is a topic on everyone's mind from the President to Business Leaders down to the individual parents and children affected by the performance of the nation's school system and we are grateful to have leaders at the forefront of this innovative organization to discuss the exciting things happening in education.
The restaurant for the evening is Via Emilia a warm, Italian restaurant located in the Flatiron/Union Square area, located at 47 East 21st Street. One thing to note is Via Emilia is cash only.
We will charge $20 (+$1.53 EventBrite fee) to reserve your space. The $20 will go towards the cost of your dinner but be prepared to pay for what you order, in cash. All cancellations/refunds must be made in advance of 48hrs of the event. Please feel free to email any questions/concerns to sethnem [at] yahoo.com
RSVP today since the table is almost full! http://march16th.eventbrite.com/
