July 8 event - support education in Ghana

One of my friends, a StartingBloc Fellow from the NY Institute, is running this event so I thought I'd spread the word. Check it out!
Happy networking,

Come to "Toasting for Change" on Friday, July 8 from 7 - 10 PM
 at Sluttery's Midtown Pub
8 East 36th Street, New York, NY 10016.

Come learn more about Deliverance Children's Home and Academy; a church/school/orphanage community based in New Eden, Goviefe Kowu, in the Volta Region of Ghana.  This organization, ran by a pastor and his wife, supports over 300 children, through providing food, shelter, education, and recreation for the children. This event will act as a fundraiser to help build a school structure in this community - giving young people an opportunity to learn and change their circumstances.  If you would like to learn more about Deliverance visit their website http://dechhomac.wordpress.com/

Event will feature a silent auction and donations of any amount will be accepted throughout the event.  Please note, some of your friends will be bar tending, all tips from 7 - 10 PM will be donated towards Deliverance's first school building. Currently, the children attend school in the outdoors! If you don't believe me, again check the website.
