Just say B.Y.O.C. at the door!
B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Cause) is back for the fall!
If you weren't able to attend over the summer, don't fret because the Community Lab team is bringing the series back and this MDG Summit-themed B.Y.O.C. (a toast to the UN MDG Review Summit) is co-hosted by our friends from Oxfam Action Corps.
As always, B.Y.O.C. is an event where we encourage you to "bring your own cause" and leave with another.
Here are the Featured Causes of the night so far:
-Concern Worldwide
-Pando Projects
-NY Faith and Justice Center
We will have a B.Y.O.C. live text vote for the Featured Cause of the Night with donations raised throughout the night going to the winning cause.
Come thirsty and ready to mingle. Don't miss this opportunity to network, collaborate and enjoy cheap drinks at the same time. We'll have Happy Hour specials until 8 p.m., so come early!
Make sure to RSVP on our Facebook event page: BYOC
And the Twitter Hashtag: #BYOC
After college, I attended a lot of networking events in NYC as part of my job search. Now that I have a job, I still like to share what I’ve learn about great events. I think you'll agree that the "right events get you the right jobs," so I hope this blog is helpful. Email me if you know about a cool networking even: I’m kbierce (at) gmail dot com. Although I can’t attend everything, I love learning more about what’s new. A calendar of NYC events is at the bottom of this page.
This blog is about how the right networking events can help you find the right job (or jobs!) for you.
