In contrast to some of the nonprofit/social impact networking events I've posted that are at the more inexpensive end of the spectrum, this venture capital forum is pricier. However, for those of you interested in awesome business events in NYC, this should be your thing. It's also cool that they're focusing on women-led media companies! I first heard about this event from the 85 Broads website.
Happy networking!

What People Said About AllThingsMedia: 2008:
"It was an inspiring, enlightening, empowering and uplifting experience. Every detail of the event was seamless and most remarkably so because it was such a huge undertaking, what with the massive process of soliciting, reviewing and narrowing down the proposals, scheduling such a large number of people with impossible schedules, interfacing with people whose hopes and dreams largely rested with the organizers, finding a way to constructively critique everyone but keep the morale and motivation very high. The final day was impeccable!"

After college, I attended a lot of networking events in NYC as part of my job search. Now that I have a job, I still like to share what I’ve learn about great events. I think you'll agree that the "right events get you the right jobs," so I hope this blog is helpful. Email me if you know about a cool networking even: I’m kbierce (at) gmail dot com. Although I can’t attend everything, I love learning more about what’s new. A calendar of NYC events is at the bottom of this page.
This blog is about how the right networking events can help you find the right job (or jobs!) for you.
