Kickstarter and Housing Works host a symposium on creative ideas. Kickstarter Co-founder Yancey Strickler talks with creators including:

    * Cartoonist Ted Rall, whose forthcoming book based on experiences from his Kickstarter-funded trip to Afghanistan will be published by Farrar, Strauss & Giroux.
    * Photographer Rachel Sussman, who continues her five-year project to document and index the Oldest Living Things in the World.
    * Liz Kenmark and Kegan Fisher, founders of Design Glut, a Brooklyn-based studio creating clever objects currently funding the launch of their new jewelry line.
This event is a good opportunity to start up a relationship with one of the co-founders (which may come in handy when your Kickstarter project is under review to go up on the site)
