Please join me on Wednesday, November 3rd, from 6:30-9:30 in Tribeca as we celebrate the launch of A Field Guide to the Female Founders, Influencers & Deal Makers of the NYC Tech &  Media Scene.

As many of you know, the Field Guide was the unexpected byproduct of a fundraiser I hosted for the Step Up Women’s Network, an amazing organization dedicated to connecting and advancing women and girls. Following the event, I realized that this list of successful women was simply too valuable to keep to myself. After all, how frequently have you heard these questions from both men and women:

• Where are all the female founders?
• Where do I find female speakers for my conference?
• Where can I find a mentor?

The answer is really quite simple: we are right here. So why don’t we just make a list? Not a club, not an organization, but a list to serve as a resource for all. And so the Field Guide was born.

Without Step Up, this list wouldn't exist. So it is only fitting that we celebrate by giving back to the underserved teen girls who need you. I look forward to seeing you in November.
